Ayacucho weavers.

These 100% wool Andean tapestries are made by Ciprian Fernandez Quispe (front right of photo) who has been weaving for years and learned from his father. The designs he uses reflect the landscape, animals, plants that he lives in, the Andean universe, and beliefs forms of daily life. He uses techniques that combine the ancient and contemporary.
